In this paper, we introduce the notion of nodal filters of residuated lattices. A filter

F of residuated lattice A is said to be nodal if is comparable with any filters of A in the set of all filters of A ordered by inclusion and we study it in detail and investigate the relationships with the other types of lters and special sets in residuated lattice. Finally we obtain a characterization of the nodal filters in terms of congruences.
